Grant Award
The School Gardens programs doesn't just happen on sunny days. This is the Pacific Northwest afterall, and there are many things to learn out in the garden on rainy days as there are on sunny days! Thank you, Community Foundation for Coupeville Public Schools for awarding us a grant that will fund raincoats and boots for our students during class. Grant Award
The Coupeville Farm to School Program has been awarded the Tulalip Tribes Charitable Fund from the Tulalip Tribe! Tulalip Cares awards a wide variety of organizations every quarter and has been doing so for 10 years! The money awarded will go towards the purchase of four food carts that will be used (initially) in our 4th and 5th grade classes. To be able to create a dish or meal from the school gardens that students help cultivate themselves will bring the learning process
